Background

My client approached me 2 years ago, she has a small team of 5 working for her Home and Kitchen brand and was too busy handling other aspects of her business. My client had amazing products but she needed someone to take over her advertising for her completely.

What we did

Our process included a number of strategies including the following;

  1. We started by auditing the account to identify where wasted spend was going and paused the campaigns for ASINs that were not performing.
  2. By clearing out high ACoS/low order campaigns, we were able to push more spending to the best sellers.
  3. We identified products and search terms that were creating sales with an ACoS under the target, and we created a hero campaign for these so they had a chance to flourish with their own budget.

Summary

  • Some keywords had under 3% ACOS while others were well over 200%. Our goal was to optimize each individual keyword’s bid for maximum visibility and revenue.
  • We implemented a perfect bid for every keyword. We did this for every single keyword in every one of their campaigns.
  • By bidding more aggressively on lower ACOS keywords, we were able to squeeze out as much revenue as possible. This strategy reduced their ACOS significantly
